SERVICE DOG TRAINING
I offer this type of training only to proven organizations that provide a specific set of goals and certification. This photo was taken at the Springfield, Ma. AMR ambulance headquarters. AMR has introduced an in-house comfort dog program to all its locations. Handler Melissa and canine Freddie completed countless hours of intensive work with me to achieve their certification. Along the way they achieved the Canine Good Citizen title. The final leg of their training journey came in Philadelphia, where they passed the certification test administered by an evaluation team from GMR (Global Medical Response). Freddie provides stress relief and comfort to the staff of AMR, which is so important in that field.
Congratulations to these two! We worked very hard but also had some fun along the way. Freddie is now a local “rock star” who is rock solid in any environment! Not a week goes by without seeing him at some community event, or on T.V. or social media.
I have also trained some local dogs that work in nearby grade schools and nursing homes. They provide a great deal of support to both the young and old. Congratulations to you all.
Cost for this service is based on the level of training required by the organization and the dogs rate of progression. Hourly rate and package deals will apply.
